The band had few gigs, so Joe also worked as a school bus driver. Although the band did not last, Joe continued to play with area musicians at various events. He drove commercial trucks the last twenty years and was last employed as a driver for Safeway. Joe will be forever missed by all his family and friends.
Joe was predeceased by his parents Eugene and Katherine, his adopted “west coast mom” Joyce Bowen, and his first wife Pam Bowen.
He is survived by his wife Francine, daughter Angel, son Nathan; his brothers: “Al”, Tom, and Louie; his sisters: Beth, Mary, Jean, and Annie. He is also survived by his “west coast dad” Bob Bowen, his sister in law’s: Debbie, Colleen, and Lisa. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law Vickie and Bill Gardner, and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service at Lodi Memorial Cemetery, located at 5750 E Pine St, Lodi, CA 95240, Friday, September 22nd, 2017, at 11am. In lieu of flowers please contribute to the
